Product Description

The Sylvan Vita range offers separate knob functions and an entrance-plus-deadbolt combination. Choose the locking function required for your door.

Available Functions

• Wardrobe Dummy: one fixed knob, not a pair, with no latch. Use a separate suitable catch to hold the door closed.
• Passage: non-locking internal-door operation, supplied with 60 and 70 mm latches.
• Privacy: internal bathroom or toilet privacy locking, not a keyed entrance lock; supplied with 60 and 70 mm latches.
• Entrance: key-locking knob set, supplied with 60 and 70 mm latches.
• Entrance + double-cylinder deadbolt: matched, keyed-alike knob and deadbolt; the deadbolt needs a key on both sides.

Available Finishes

• Polished Brass and Stainless Steel; the entrance/deadbolt combination is Stainless Steel only.

• Concealed screw fixings.
• Privacy operation uses an internal push button.

• Operating knob sets: door thickness 29–45 mm.
• Combination set: door thickness 35–40 mm; knob and deadbolt keyed alike; both 60 mm and 70 mm latches supplied.

Machining / Drill-Out

• 54 mm hole preparation.

Important Note

• Dummy knobs fix from the back of the door and cannot be fitted back-to-back.
• Confirm preparation and the suitability of double-cylinder locking for the intended installation.
• For exposed, coastal or geothermal entrance locations, confirm suitability and finish-care requirements. A matching appearance alone does not establish fit.
• Follow the manufacturer’s fitting and finish-care instructions. Avoid abrasive cleaners, solvents and harsh chemicals.

Warranty Information

• Sylvan provides a 10-year mechanical warranty and a 5-year finish warranty for this product range, from the purchase date.
• Coverage is for the original user and is not transferable. Keep proof of purchase and return a qualifying defective product to the retailer for repair or replacement. Exclusions include incorrect installation, misuse, abrasive or chemical damage, excessive weather/coastal exposure, commercial use of residential hardware, separately purchased spare parts, and removal, refitting, freight or consequential costs.
