The Sylvan SL41E Smart Entry Longplate Handle provides fingerprint, PIN code, RFID card, Bluetooth app and mechanical key access for residential timber and aluminium entrance doors.

It includes a 60mm backset mortice lock and is available in Black or Satin Silver.

Important Note

The interior panel is not waterproof. Install on a flat door with good weather protection, preferably in a sheltered position.

Not suitable for fully exposed doors, gates, high-salt or sulphur environments. Outward-opening doors require written model-specific confirmation of suitability and warranty cover. Weather protection alone does not establish eligibility.

Batteries are not included. Use quality alkaline batteries only; do not use lithium or carbon-zinc batteries.

Warranty Information

Sylvan states a two-year warranty for mechanical and electronic defects. Residential door-lock applications must be weather-protected and are not covered for fire/smoke doors, hydraulic door closers or commercial use under the general terms. The general warranty excludes outward-opening doors; obtain written model-specific confirmation before purchase, even where weather protection is provided.

The warranty is for the original user, with proof of purchase, subject to correct installation and the manufacturer’s conditions. Misuse, abrasive cleaning and excessive environmental exposure are excluded, along with removal, installation, freight and consequential-loss costs.
