Warranty Information

• Sylvan states a two-year warranty for mechanical and electronic defects. Residential door-lock applications must be weather-protected and are not covered for fire/smoke doors, hydraulic door closers or commercial use under the general terms. The general warranty excludes outward-opening doors; obtain written model-specific confirmation before purchase, even where weather protection is provided.
• The warranty is for the original user, with proof of purchase, subject to correct installation and the manufacturer’s conditions. Misuse, abrasive cleaning and excessive environmental exposure are excluded, along with removal, installation, freight and consequential-loss costs.
