The Sylvan Quest knob range lets you match the operating function to the door. Choose from the functions and finishes listed for this product; each option is supplied separately.

Available Functions

• Wardrobe Dummy: one fixed knob handle, not a pair, with no latch. Choose a separate suitable catch to hold the door closed.
• Passage: non-locking operation for internal doors; supplied with 60 and 70 mm latches.
• Privacy: internal privacy locking for bathrooms or toilets, not a keyed entrance lock; supplied with 60 and 70 mm latches.
• Entrance: keyed locking for an entrance door; supplied with 60 and 70 mm latches.
• Entrance + Double-Cylinder Deadbolt Set: a matched entrance knob and separate double-cylinder deadbolt, keyed alike; the deadbolt uses a key on both sides. Available in Polished Brass or Stainless Steel only.

Technical Information

• Door thickness for single-knob operating sets: 29–45 mm.
• Door thickness for Entrance + Double-Cylinder Deadbolt Sets: 35–40 mm; supplied with 60 and 70 mm latches.
• Hole preparation for operating sets: 54 mm.

Important Note

Dummy knobs fix from the back of the door and cannot be fitted back-to-back.

For a double-cylinder deadbolt set, confirm that key-operated locking on both sides is suitable for the intended door and use before ordering.

For exposed, coastal or geothermal entrance locations, confirm suitability and finish-care requirements before installation.

Measure the door thickness, existing hole and latch backset before choosing an option. A matching appearance alone does not establish fit.

Warranty Information

Sylvan provides a 10-year mechanical warranty and a 5-year finish warranty for this product range, from the purchase date.

Coverage is for the original user and is not transferable. Keep proof of purchase and return a qualifying defective product to the retailer for repair or replacement. Exclusions include incorrect installation, misuse, abrasive or chemical damage, excessive weather/coastal exposure, commercial use of residential hardware, separately purchased spare parts, and removal, refitting, freight or consequential costs.
