Round deadbolts with either key-and-thumbturn or double-key operation. Select the cylinder function deliberately; they operate differently from inside.
Available Functions
EDB1 single cylinder: outside key and inside thumbturn.
EDB2 double cylinder: a key is needed on both sides, including to unlock from inside.
Available Finishes
EDB1: Black, Polished Brass or Stainless Steel. EDB2: Antique Brass, Polished Brass or Stainless Steel.
Technical Information
Both models have adjustable 60 mm or 70 mm backset.
EDB1 door thickness: 35–50 mm.
EDB2.SS.Ka is the Stainless Steel keyed-alike A-to-E selection; a matching key system must be separately confirmed.
Machining / Drill-Out
EDB2: 54 mm door-hole preparation.
Important Note
Check the selected function and door preparation. EDB2 requires a key for inside escape; confirm suitability for the door’s escape requirements.
The EDB2 door-thickness range requires confirmation before ordering.
