Product Description
Superior Doors Exterior Porch Doors are designed for sheltered exterior areas and protected outdoor entrance ways. They are a practical option for covered porches, sheltered entry areas, internal-to-covered-external access points, and other locations where the door is protected from direct weather.
These porch doors are built with a solid Moisture Resistant Particle Board core, H3.1 treated rails and stiles, water-resistant cross-linking D3 glue, and waterproof expanding polyurethane glue to seal exterior joins. This construction makes them more suitable for protected exterior use than standard interior doors, while still requiring correct finishing, painting, and weather protection.
Please note that Porch Doors are not suitable for fully exposed exterior locations. They must be installed in a sheltered area and protected from direct rain, moisture, and sunlight.

Painting & Finish Note
This door is supplied unprimed and must be properly sealed, primed, and painted before installation and before exposure to exterior conditions.
All faces and edges must be sealed and painted, including the front, back, left edge, right edge, top edge, and bottom edge. Any cut-outs, trimming, lock holes, hinge rebates, or exposed raw edges must also be fully sealed before the door is hung.
Because this is a sheltered exterior porch door, a high-quality exterior paint system should be used. The door must be finished in a light colour with an LRV of no less than 50. Dark colours should be avoided, as they can increase heat absorption and may cause movement, distortion, or warranty issues.
The door must be maintained regularly. If the paint film becomes damaged, cracked, worn, or exposed, it should be repaired promptly to prevent moisture entry.
Warranty Information
Superior Doors Porch Doors are covered by Superior Doors’ 10-year guarantee, subject to correct storage, handling, installation, finishing, maintenance, and sheltered exterior use.
Porch Doors are not warranted for fully exposed exterior use. They must be installed in a protected location and must not be exposed to direct rain, moisture, prolonged sunlight, or harsh weather conditions.
The warranty requires the door to be sealed and painted correctly on all faces and edges. The door must be finished in a suitable light colour with an LRV of no less than 50. Failure to seal, prime, paint, or maintain the door correctly may void the warranty.
The warranty does not cover issues caused by incorrect storage, poor installation, unsuitable location, direct weather exposure, moisture damage, use in fully exposed exterior conditions, dark paint colours, failure to seal or paint correctly, excessive trimming or alteration, hardware installation damage, normal timber or material movement, or consequential costs such as painting, hanging, removal, reinstallation, transport, or finishing costs.
Please check Superior Doors’ full guarantee, care, handling, installation, and finishing requirements before ordering.
