Product Description

Schlage Stella Sliding Door Lock is a modern sliding door lock designed for aluminium sliding doors. With its compact design, smooth curved handle and black powder coat finish, Stella is a practical choice for external sliding doors where a clean appearance and reliable everyday operation are required.

The Stella range is suitable for new and retrofit applications and is designed for doors with 30mm to 50mm door thickness. It is available in Standard and Slimline styles, with options for non-key locking, external key locking, deadlocking with day latch and dummy pull applications.

Available Functions:

Non-Key Locking:
A sliding door lock operated by inside snib only. Suitable for sliding doors where outside key access is not required.

External Locking:
A keyed sliding door lock with outside key access and inside snib operation. Suitable for external sliding doors where convenient locking from the outside is required.

Deadlocking with Day Latch:
A higher-security sliding door lock with key operation and day latch function. Suitable for external sliding doors where deadlocking is preferred.

Dummy:
A non-locking pull handle option used for matching appearance or inactive sliding door applications.

Standard Stella D-Handle:
A comfortable D-handle design suitable for everyday residential sliding door use.

Stella Slimline:
A slimmer handle design suitable for doors where a more compact appearance is preferred.

Machining / Installation Information:

Schlage Stella is suitable for new and retrofit sliding door installations. Please check the installation template before machining, as the final preparation may depend on the selected function, door profile and existing sliding door cut-out.

For replacement installations, please confirm the existing lock size, fixing position, door thickness and strike position before ordering.

Warranty Information:

Schlage Stella Sliding Door Locks are covered by Allegion’s residential hardware warranty. The Stella range includes a 10-year mechanical warranty for residential use.

Warranty generally covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use, subject to correct installation, suitable application and proper maintenance. The product must be installed according to Allegion / Schlage installation instructions and used within the recommended door thickness range.

Warranty does not normally cover incorrect installation, misuse, impact damage, unauthorised modification, unsuitable door preparation, normal wear and tear, environmental damage, corrosion caused by harsh conditions, damage from cleaning chemicals, or failure caused by lack of maintenance.

Finish warranty may vary depending on the finish, environment and maintenance conditions. Black powder coat finishes should be cleaned with mild soapy water only. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals and poor maintenance in coastal or corrosive environments.
