Priming: This door is supplied unprimed as standard. If you would like us to prime the door for you before delivery, please leave a note at checkout. 

Lock machining: We can pre-machine the door for your lockset before delivery. Please leave a note at checkout with your lock model or required drilling specifications. If you are unsure, you can send us the lock details and we will confirm the machining requirements before production.

Important Finish Note

This door is supplied unprimed in Paint Quality Pine. It must be properly sealed, primed, and painted after fitting and before hanging, including the top and bottom edges.

Because this is Paint Quality Pine, it is intended to be painted rather than stained. Extra care should be taken when finishing louvre doors, as the slats, edges, and corners all need to be properly sealed and coated.

Warranty Information

Parkwood timber doors come with a 5-year warranty. Parkwood states that all timber doors have a 5-year warranty, and that warranty covers defects in workmanship, with repair or replacement at Parkwood’s discretion. Parkwood also notes that warp is not considered a defect unless it exceeds 6mm in the door itself, and natural variations in timber colour and grain are not considered defects.

For solid timber doors, Parkwood notes that seasonal and geographic changes can cause shrinkage or expansion, and this does not constitute a defect. Doors should be stored away from direct sunlight in a clean, dry place before installation.

For internal doors, Parkwood requires the entire door, including the top and bottom edges, to be sealed or painted immediately after fitting into the frame but before hanging. A high-quality finish should be used and the coating manufacturer’s advice should be followed.

The warranty does not cover issues caused by incorrect storage, poor installation, failure to seal or paint the door correctly, unsuitable finishing products, misuse, alteration, moisture exposure, excessive heat, or failure to follow Parkwood’s care and warranty requirements.
