Parkwood Aluminium Vision Panel Exterior Doors are a strong, stable, and low-maintenance exterior door option designed for New Zealand homes. This product includes selected Parkwood aluminium exterior door designs with glass vision panels, ideal for customers who want a durable exterior door with natural light, security, and long-term weather performance.

Parkwood aluminium doors are designed for exterior use and are suitable for exposed weather conditions. They offer a clean architectural look, strong aluminium construction, and a hard-wearing powder coated finish for long-term durability and low maintenance.

The glass vision panel allows natural light into the entrance area while maintaining a modern exterior appearance. Two double-glazed safety glass options are available: 18mm DG Clear Low E – Toughened with Argon Gas for maximum light and visibility, or 18mm DG Etchlite Low E – Toughened with Argon Gas for added privacy while still allowing light through.

This vision panel aluminium range is ideal for front entrances, back doors, side entrances, garage access doors, laundries, and other exterior entry points where durability, natural light, and weather performance are important.

18mm DG Clear Low E – Toughened with Argon Gas
A clear double-glazed safety glass option that allows maximum natural light and visibility. The Low E coating and argon gas help improve thermal performance, making it a practical option for exterior entrance doors.

18mm DG Etchlite Low E – Toughened with Argon Gas
A privacy-focused double-glazed safety glass option that allows natural light through while reducing direct visibility. Ideal for entrances where privacy is preferred without making the area feel dark.

Custom Size & Optional Services

Custom size: Please place an order for the closest standard size, then leave a note at checkout with your required custom measurements. We will send you a separate invoice for any price difference.

Powder coat colour: Powder coating is required for Parkwood aluminium exterior doors. Please choose your preferred powder coat colour when ordering. You can select from our recommended colour options or provide your preferred powder coat colour/code, and we can confirm availability before production.

Lock machining: We can pre-machine the door for your lockset before delivery. Please leave a note at checkout with your lock model or required drilling specifications. If you are unsure, you can send us the lock details and we will confirm the machining requirements before production.

Cat door preparation: For Parkwood aluminium exterior doors, we can also pre-cut the cat door position on request, where suitable for the selected door design. Please leave a note at checkout with your cat door measurements, model, or required cut-out details so we can confirm before production.

Important Finish Note

Parkwood aluminium exterior doors must be powder coated. The powder coat finish provides a durable, long-lasting surface designed for exterior weather conditions. A powder coat colour must be selected before production can proceed.

Actual colours may vary between screens and physical samples, so we recommend confirming the colour carefully before production. Regular cleaning and maintenance are required to keep the powder coat finish in good condition, especially in coastal, high-exposure, or harsh environments. Avoid abrasive cleaners, harsh chemicals, or damage to the powder coated surface.

For vision panel doors, care should also be taken around the glass, glazing beads, lock areas, and edges. Glass damage after delivery or installation is generally not covered under the door warranty.

Warranty Information

Parkwood aluminium doors come with a 10-year warranty, subject to Parkwood’s warranty terms and correct installation, care, and maintenance requirements. Powder coat finishes may also be covered by a finish warranty, provided the correct powder coating system, colour, exposure conditions, and maintenance requirements are followed.
