Product Description

The Interior Surface Sliding Door is a practical space-saving option when installing a cavity slider is not suitable. The door slides along the face of the wall, making it ideal for wardrobes, laundries, cupboards, hallways, studies and other internal spaces.

The standard package includes a Superior Doors pre-primed flush hollow ribcore door leaf and a Brio Wardrobe Single 50 top-hung sliding system.

Painting & Finish Note

The door is supplied pre-primed but not fully painted.

Before painting:

• Lightly sand both faces with 320-grit or finer sandpaper, or clean them with isopropyl alcohol or methylated spirits
• Prime and paint both faces and all four edges
• Seal the door within 7 days of delivery
• Apply a suitable undercoat and at least two top coats
• Use a paint colour with an LRV above 50%

Failure to prepare, seal or paint the door correctly may cause swelling, distortion or warping and may affect the warranty.

Important Note

Surface sliding doors sit in front of the wall and may provide less sound control and privacy than a standard hinged door.

Confirm there is sufficient clear wall space beside the opening for the door to slide fully open. Auckland installation service may be selected separately where available.

Warranty Information

Superior Doors products are covered by a 10-year guarantee against defects in materials and workmanship, subject to correct handling, storage, installation and finishing.

Any visible manufacturing defects must be reported within 7 days of receipt and before installation or painting.

The warranty does not cover incorrect storage, moisture exposure, improper installation, unsuitable paint colours, incomplete sealing, excessive trimming or consequential installation and finishing costs. Trimming more than 3mm from any edge may void the warranty.
